Hello,

We’re excited to announce that our 9th Annual Mutt Strut 5K will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the beautiful Rainbow Lake Pavilion in Overton Park, Memphis, TN!

The Mutt Strut 5K is the cornerstone fundraiser for Dogs 2nd Chance, and thanks to the enthusiastic support of our community—and our participants’ four-legged friends—this event grows every year.

For 2025, we’re anticipating more than 275 human participants and 110 dogs, totaling over 300 “walking billboards” proudly displaying our sponsors’ logos and messages across the Mid-South and beyond.

This year, more than ever, we need your support. An emergency medical case earlier this year placed a heavy strain on our resources, and with rising costs, our already tight budget is under pressure.

Despite these challenges, we’ve kept our adoption fee at just $200 for over a decade—an amount that covers only a fraction of the care our dogs receive.

As a 100% volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we do not operate a shelter, nor do we receive government funding. We rely solely on the generosity of donors, community fundraisers, and sponsorships
from compassionate businesses like yours to continue our mission: rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned, abused, and stray dogs throughout the Mid-South.

We’ve attached our Sponsorship Opportunities & Commitment Form for your review. The earlier you commit, the sooner your business will be featured on our website, social media, and promotional materials.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly at 901-485-3450 or via email at dogs2ndchance@gmail.com

Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a difference in the lives of so many deserving dogs.

Warm regards,
Linda Sutphin
